Cracked windshield. Any feedback on brand or company?

A rock hit the edge of my windshield and cracked it 10 inches long.

I know of Safelite, PPG, and OEM. Any feedback on brands or replacement issues?

I want to make sure it gets done right and the most cost effective way.

75% of the time "right" and "cost effective" are not synonymous.

I've used Safelite over the years and have not had any problems.
Last time I used them was about a year ago, to fill a chip in my G37 windshield. Guy came to the house and did a great job.
In FL there is zero deduction for replacing windshields, so I could have had them put in a new one, but figured I'd see what it looked like after they patched the chip. It was located close to the bottom and toward the center. You can not see where they did the repair.
