Adjusting driver-side window?
Adjusting driver-side window?
Hey guys,
Had my G in the bodyshop recently because some jerk hit me and ran, and they replaced my entire door as a result of the damage. Everything seemed to be in order, but putting the car through a touchless wash tonight, I noticed water coming in from the section of the door gasket where the tweeter speaker meets the window, on the very tip of that plastic case. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the window is not completely sealing when closed completely. I checked the passenger side door to confirm, and the window seems to be about a centimeter short of how high it needs to be when the door is closed. There is even a visible gap between the door gasket and the window from outside the car.
Is there any way I can fix this issue electronically, such as through a window reset (not sure how to do it, but I imagine there is one), or am I gonna have to take the car back to the shop?
Thanks,
Michael

1 cm is .3935"...that would be a huge gap.
I think you are gonna have to take it back to the shop...
