DRL Project...

I'm adding DRLs to my 2009 G37S convert.

After some round-about I'm using Oznium flexible LED strips.

Here's prepping the faux vents...

Yeah, it's all organized and clean. You must stay out there a lot.

+1 on the nice looking place you have. And any mounted pics yet? Looks like it'll look good from far away.

Yeah, I'll post pics as I progress. Next is to determine how to secure the led strip to the panel.

Thanks... I tried this on the back and it pealed off fairly easily. I'm concerned about it's longevity.

I'm thinking possibly epoxy and several very small wire ties.

Any more suggestions?

I haven't tied tape. Do you know of a marine grade that will withstand the weather?

As far as mounting, i would get some type of clear tubing and cut it in half and cover the lights that way, or slide the lights inside of it then attached it to the vents. just my $0.02

The problem at hand is attaching to the faux vent plastic. Tubing doesn't solve that.

I prefer some sort of adhesive but the plastic doesn't want to play.

There doesn't seem to be an easily applied glue that will stick to PP+EPM plastic.

I'm looking at mechanical hold downs... anyone know the name of a miniature hold down with a profile that looks like a 7 and will accept a screw from the bottom.

Thanks...
