Help! Scratches in leather seat

I need advice on how to deal with or treat scratches on my leather sport seats.

A passenger must've had metal rivets, buttons or zippers on their *** today cause I notice three pairs of parallel scratches on my passenger seat. Longest is about two inches long. I want to prevent it from tearing or getting worse and catching on more stuff. What can I do to to prevent this. I also want it to look better, any tips for this?

Hopefully I can ensure the seats last the life of the car and look awesome in the process!

Keep a terry cloth around and make people with weird stuff on their jeans sit on it. Yes, I'm serious.

Get some similar-color shoe polish to dye the visible scratches part down a bit. If you rub it down good enough, it'll hide it better and won't transfer.
