Anyone have problems with this company? I purchased a set of D2S Premium 8K Bulbs.
V-HIDS PREMIUM XENON HEADLIGHT BULBS D2S 8000K BLUE

Luckily it was the 1st bulb I tried that was defective or I would have wasted 1 hour. Bulb turned on for 1 sec and then shut off, installed the other bulb on same side and it fired up with no problem??

Compared to some other bulbs I've tried on my past vehicles, these "Premium" bulbs came shipped in some pretty generic box and wrapping? maybe I just have bad luck too!!

Any feedback would be appreciated, I'm trying to decide to give them another chance and ship me another set or just ask for refund and buy more name brand expensive D2S bulbs??

Thanks!!

Don't sweat it. Assuming your G is 2010+ you have a ballast in your passenger headlight (i believe) that is very temperamental. Alot of HIDs will either burn out or refuse to fire. I have a set that's guaranteed to work if your interested.

Thanks, I have a 2011 IPL.
What type of bulb do you recommend or do you have and whats the light output? Mine was the Drivers side that was "temperamental"

Do you know what is the cause of this? Sounds like I just need to get a refund if thats the case

Yea get a refund and try a different set. The culprit is the voltage that the lights run at. The temperamental ballast will give an initial surge of power that the stock (expensive)hid bulbs are not effected by. The new aftermaket (cheap) hids aren't used to that surge and the initial burn-in fries them.
I've swapped hids for 12 G's so far and at least 4 of them had this issue. Mine actually burnt one bulb out as well.

2 ways of going around this issue. Getting a set of HIDs that are able to tolerate a wider range of voltage or get a new set and let them burn in (15-20 mins) on the ballast that works normally. After the initial burn in, let that bulb cool down ~5 mins and you should be able to put that bulb into the temperamental side without any issues.

to be honest its not worth it nowadays to get an expensive kit when you can get bulbs anywhere from 10 - 60 dollars a set. Find a reputable website and buy a set of bulbs and try it out. Most expensive doesn't always mean highest quality.

If your dead set on quality (expensive) look up morimoto, or philips will probably be your best bet.

No problem at all! hope it helps

I have a partnership with a company that manufactures leds, hids, etc. There is no specific brand. the light output ranges from 2800-3400 lumens depending on the Color temp you want.

I'm currently testing out an hid kit for back up lights if you interested as well.
