Hi folks!

Just a quick question...I heard that for the newer G37's, if you remove and re-install the headlights, you have to get them "reset" at the dealer to have them work properly. Is this true?

I have a 2011 G37 Sedan and wanted to get the housing painted black. I planned on following the awesome DIY's on this forum to do so...but wondering if I'll have to take my car to the stealership and pay them to "reset" my lights.

thats a load of crap

ive had my headlights removed and replaced 5000 times...never went to the dealer for any "resetting"

theres nothing to "reset"

Maybe you're thinking of the throttle body assemblies? From what I've read on here, those have some sort of reset procedure if they're disconnected.

 

Op. you're local to me. Are you interested in a set of halo rings made by Umnitza? I did a set for a friend and they look really good and thought maybe you might be interested cuz I do have a extra pair of the halo rings
