Auto shift ****

Been wondering. I wanted to change out the shift in the auto x coupe but doesn't look like it can come out. I wanted to put a nice purple blue mixture ****. Is there a way to take it out and change it or no?

ipitythefool changed his auto shift ****.
Maybe he can chime in.

Should be just pull down the ring with the boot and yank up hard or something like that. But it is doable though.

put your finger around the silver ring and push downwards. the leather boot should come down revealing the bare silver rod. where the auto shift **** connects to the rod should be a little metal U shaped pin with bent facing-up pin. pull it out. and then you can take the shift **** off.
