2008 g37 coupe journey black.

Car was keyed on passenger door. I spoke with a shop that said they can fix and try to match black for around 300 or (going through insurance) may need to paint more around the door. He said its tough to match if there is metallic in the paint.

Is there metallic?
How well do you think they could match it?

I really appreciate the ideas, opinions, etc.

If you have black obsidian, it's plain ol' jet black. Nissan paint code KH3.

 

Key the whole car.... Then paint it a different color!

 

Yes it is Obsidian. So it should be pretty easy for them to match.
