Debadge or Not to Debadge?

Ok the body shop just replaced a new oem trunk and new paint job due to hail storm. They called me today and asked me whether i want to put the emblems on the trunk or not.

Should i put the emblem back on? i never debadged before so i'm used to the trunk with all the emblems ... i did my homework and checked the old threads. I found g37sam debadged thread with this pic..

by looking at above picture, i like the red coupe with all the emblems. it looks more original. But i just want to know you guys opinion. let me know.

Thanks

This is a subjective question and nothing more; completely up to you. (It is like asking a dude what his favorite feature or personality trait on a woman is.) Go with whatever you feel bro, it is your car and you have to live with it. If you decide you do not like your G badge-less you can put them back on.
If you have read other threads than you know the general opinions. Weigh your subconscious feelings against them and see where your feelings lie.

Just debadge the INFINITI and leave the rest. All those letters just too much IMHO.

If you got a S or an IPL or a limited edition or some other "not your ordinary G37" go ahead and leave that emblem. It kinda sets you apart from the rest. Granted you're not driving a Veyron or anything like that, but it's something more than ordinary. If you have the emblem, you don't need the " I N F I N I T I " BS they put on there. If you do get rid of the emblem, you have absolutely no reason to keep the " I N F I N I T I " BS so just get rid of that.

I don't like the back completely stripped, our rear ends are just too big and bulky to not have something back there. The Infiniti emblem and the G37S badge is likely what I'm going to end up with on mine. Everything else is just extra.

If you read all the past posts on this subject then you’ve seen the principal negatives, such as:

• It makes your car look “erased”
• Some may think you’re ashamed of the car
• If a sedan, others may think you’re trying to pass your G25 for a G37
• The car may have a lower resale value

But if you like the “clean” look, go for it.

I agree with the debadging of the "INFINITI". It's redundant..

Completely agree that this is a subjective and a total personal preference thing. I personally have the mt fuji but got it painted gun metal and debaged the infiniti and g37s.

It's totally personal preference. I think painting them black doesn't hurt as it sort of hides it but its still there. Although the Infiniti writing is kind of excessive as there already is a logo.
