headlight question

hey guys I was wondering if anyone has changed their headlight ballasts to a 55w ballast for brighter headlights? i was thinking about doing this but didnt know if there would be any heat issues or what not. let me know thanks. i just changed my truck headlights and foglights with 55w ballasts and it looks so bright and clean. i want the same look for mine. any suggestions would be great. thanks

55w will just color wash the bulbs. I say don't do it it's pointless! 35w hids puts out a fine amount of light.
But to answer you question. Yes you can do it, but due to more heat you might have more of a chance for condensation in you headlight!
