Leather issues

I just purchased a 2011 G37S Sedan last Saturday, and it's been undriven and parked in the garage since Sunday. I was inspecting the car last night and noticed the leather in the back passenger seats are really wrinkled in the corners. I only notice this on the right seat. The other side looks fine.

Also, it's only been a few days and I've already noticed that the left driver's seat bolster is already wrinkling.

What's up with the leather? Should I bring it back to the dealer and complain? It's only been a few days and I've only driven it 2 out of the 5 days I've had it! I would think that after paying $40K, quality would be a little bit better!

Pretty sure they all do it. I the same thing. I am going to take it in for it but I will probably wait for a while first.

First thing I would suggest to do is clean and condition the leather.

Believe it or not, a car straight from the dealership is in it's worst cosmetic condition, being that there (usually) is nothing but a thin layer of wax on it, and NOTHING done to the leather besides maybe a quick wipe-down with some Armor All leather wipes =/

Buy some Lexol Cleaner/Conditioner bottles at your local Auto Parts store to help your leather last man. Makes a world of a difference in the long run.

My leather still looks/smells brand new and I'm at 72K miles

I use Leatherique Products:

Is Leatherique better than Lexol? I'll pick some up on my way home and get it on ASAP.

It is, but Lexol is just about the best over-the-counter leather care you can buy. Pretty cheap too

Be sure to clean the leather, then soak it for a good few hours in the conditioner before wiping off.

it's not unusual. i've seen wrinkles in the corners and other areas when they are new at the dealership. leather is not consistant across the board, so you will see patches of imperfections here and there. it's just how the cow is i guess.

I use Lexol conditioner. I think it helps a lot, especially with the heat in Houston this time of the year. 100oF FTL!

The consensus here is Infiniti leather tends to develop wrinkles earlier than "usual". So it's important to take care of it.

I have some wrinkles on my seats at 28,000 miles...odd thing is my 350Z had 70,000 miles and the seats still looked perfect, except for one small spot where I rubbed against the side bolster every time getting in or out.
The one thing that might have helped is my 350Z seats were very firm; there was no soft cushion for the leather to sink into and stretch.
