Auto Body Paint

Hey all

I'm just curious to know how much a good front bumper paint job cost you guys. I just got quoted from a pretty good body shop $975 to paint my front bumper. A little history, there is nothing wrong with my G, just really like the aero bumper. Anyways, with a good panel matching paint job, how much is it costing you guys? I feel that this is very excessive and I'm taken for a ride on the "swindle this guy" train.

you get what you pay for, but that seems pretty high still, are they blending the front fenders as well or just painting the bumper? Some colors I've seen them blend to make a better match, especially the IP cars.

If its an OEM part from infiniti there wont be any issues fitting it, so all they would have to do is prep and paint it. That sounds high to me unless they can 100% guarantee their work and the color match. If your car is Ivory Pearl white good luck, theres like a million shades of ivory pearl white

They are just painting the front bumper that's why I'm questioning the quote. I can understand if they are blending the front fenders and hood, but nope. Color is amethyst graphite

I just priced all that last week.... including adding a lower lip and my average estimate was $760! Then add the cost of the lower lip and clear bra... and you're well over $1500!

Sounds very tempting but that's a lot of effort trying to sell the bumper and all the components for it. Too much work, when I can just paint and not have to look at my ugly front bumper anymore.

I really need a new front look. Already thinking about just putting the unpainted bumper on!
