scratches on tail light

I have scratches on my tail light. What is the best product out there these days to fix this? I'd like to avoid wet sanding it if possible.

it doesnt damage the plastic finish? i dont want that area to go dull in a few years.

Haven't encountered that. Just use rubbing compound and wax.
