Contact 180Customs. They have a thread in the vendor section somewhere.

They've done a few tails already.

You can order the GTR overlays from Blue_Batmobile. Lots of members here have his overlays on their cars. Email him and ask about overlays for the vert.

On the other hand the overlay isnt permanent if you decide you hate it.

Yeah my thought was to do overlays first to see if I like the look, then paint them if I decide I do. Anyone know of a specific members ride I can look at to see how the overlays look? Thanks for the responses guys, I know this is pretty simple stuff.

180customs was supposed to be working on a template to get this done properly.

The vert tails are round. So good look with overlays from bluebatmobile. I don't think any exist for the vert. I'd be interested too with an overlay though.

I think what I'm gonna do is go to a local body shop and ask them to just paint the taillights to match the car, leaving the space for the circle lights and reverse light like a GTR tail, but real clean and dark black to match the car. I'll let you know how it goes.

Yeah, that's an option too. Paint is so permanent though? I was thinking of asking a tint guy to see if he wanted to tackle making a custom overlay, but getting the right circles on a curved surface is key.

Paint gun is permanent, a rattle can isn't. If you proper wetsand and buff a rattle can looks almost as good as a gun.
