Infiniti Dealership not accepting TSB for window leak

Guys,

I brought my G37 into Salerno Duane Infiniti of Denville NJ and they rejected my claim to ITB07-004 as they said it was the wrong window (this TSB is for a four door). I can't believe a window air leak would not be covered under warranty??? Any ideas on how to proceed?

I wouldn't go in there expecting they perform a tsb especially since it's for a four door. Tell them your concern see if they can duplicate it and fix it.

The coupe has frameless doors and the sedan has "regular" doors with frames. You can't apply the solution from one to the other. As mentioned above discuss your concerns and how to proceed.

Took our 08 in and had passenger side window air leak fixed under warranty 6 months ago.

I got the TSB from this forum so I wasn't trying to pull anything sneaky. Anyway, I paid for the service and they adjusted the window to roll up further...Better, but still a low hiss when at slow speeds and much louder wind noise when doing 70 MPH+

Taking it back to the dealership tomorrow.

Warranty only covers the window adjustments for 12k miles or 1 year ironically enough.

Did they mechanically make an adjustment or did they just reset the window system described in the owner's manual?

a TSB isn't a recall or an obligation to service. It's just instructions for a tech for addressing a specific issue.
