Sport Seat Thigh Support Question

For those that have the sport seats, how firmly does your thigh support extension click into place?

When I have the thigh support extended there is still a fair bit of play in the mechanism so if I move my legs a bit the thigh bolster moves a bit too within a limited range. It's enough that you can hear an audible click as it moves against it's range of motion and so it shifts around a bit especially if I am doing any sort of spirited driving.

No real noticeable movement on mine, but also running CBE and music constantly. If my support were moving or clicking though, I would probably notice it and it would bug the **** out of me. You should have the dealer check it out. Maybe something needs to be tightened down!

The sport seats have adjustable thigh and side support. Some people actually complain that it is too tight of a fit. I love mine.

Love the sport seats. One of the main reasons I bought the G. Just as good as the 3 series seats, although the leather is slightly lower in quality.

Haven't noticed any movement in mine, they seem pretty stable. I also set mine at the full extension.

I like the feel and comfort of the seats. Others have complained they are uncomfortable.

Here's a tip: Within the first couple weeks of owning the car I was having a slight comfort issue with the seat, no matter how I adjusted it. What I discovered was my wallet, which I carry in my back pocket, was getting shoved into my **** cheek by the right bolster. Now I remove the wallet and slip it in my front pocket on longer drives and it's much more comfortable.

Yes, same exact thing for me. No wallet in the back pocket for me when driving ANY vehicle anymore.

I also appreciate the thigh extensions. I'm tall, so the extra support is perfect for me. The only other car I've owned that had thigh extensions was my M3. It's really nice to have them again!

My extensions don't rattle, but definitely feel like they aren't of the top quality. The first time I played with them I thought Infiniti had skimped out a bit on this feature. That being said, when I'm driving and my legs are on them, the are secured just fine. But when I handle the adjustment, it definitely always feels "loose".

No clicking on mine. Although it does take bit of tug to get the extension in place, but once it's in place it's solid. It's the same for both the driver and passenger seats.
