afs sensor not coming off

okay guys i have a fully loaded coupe with the technology package which included the active steering headlights. i swapped headlights with a member for the iron man and ss mod but he didnt had the technology package. when the headlights were installed on my coupe i noticed the afs off sensor would keep blinking in my guage cluster. i tried to hit the off switch and it kept at it.

need help on how to get rid of it please

If they are non-afs lights then that light will keep blinking regardless. One of the reasons you shouldn't just swap lights with people. You'll have to learn to live with it or get a new set of lights

It's blinking becuase it's the car is trying to contact the AFS module in the lights and can't reach it. It reads this as an error. As others said you either have to live with it or get a new set of AFS lights.

I don't think so. You can't reprogram the car to not be AFS equipped that I know of.

The AFS headlight has two seperate plugs one is for the lights, the other is for AFS, when not connected, you'll always have the light come on. I've seen this first hand.

just swap housings, which will require you to open both lights!
