Maintenance other light center dash

I just bought an 08 G37 coupe used.Coming out of an 03 G35 sedan. In the center of the speedo & Tach there is a msg center, when you start the car it always starts out on "Maintenance Other" and if you want anything else you have to change it manually by hitting the toggle on upper right hand of dash. I just changed the oil and filter. I have searched the forum with no luck on finding the way to reset light.

What is the correct way to reset this ?

Behind the steering wheel look on the right hand side dash there's 2 buttons to change the maintenance resets, its pretty easy once you've located them.

Cdng37 Your talking about the 2 buttons that toggle through the displays [temp,MPG,time& mileage] correct? Do you just hold these down for a set time? And should you have to toggle it say to temp each time you start car or should it come back to where you left it from when you shut off previously?

Just select the one you want to reset (oil change)then press and hold the lower button for 2 seconds, it will then re-set to zero. You can set the display to show whatever you desire and it will stay there everytime you start your car.
