Just did HID upgrade to daytime running lights
Dont have many pics right now but ill post them at the end. The way i did it was by dropping the bumper and removing the headlights. I have NO idea how it can be done just through the wheel well, i just wouldnt of been able to do it like that.
Here are a few pics!

Before
After (I think they are brighter then my headlights haha)
I mounted them on the sides of my R2C's, im gonna see if i like it after a few weeks
Ballasts make a hissing noise when on, just an FYI, i would rate it as a 6-7 out of 10 if your like me. This was the first time i have used a dremel so i was a bit nervous, first time i dropped the bumper ect. If your confident do it!
EDIT
picture of how bright my headlights + DRL are when both on at once, to be honest my DRL are brighter than my headlights

What is best way to hook up the foglights as my DRL. Have to add DRL to my 2010 G37X to comply with Canadian RIV. Can I go direct or do I need a DRL Module?. If so what is the wiring colors and location to complete the wiring.
Thanks
Thanks

Well my g is bought i canada, so it already has stock DRL which i just changed to HID's im not exactly sure what oyu would have to do in order ot make it work
Technically speaking, DRLs are still fogs, the only difference for Canada spec cars is the "Fogs" aka DRLs are on at all times, there's no way to turn them off as long as the car is running. To make your US spec car work like DRL's is just keep the foglights switch turned on at all times, as long as the healights are turned on, the fogs/drls will always stay on. Do the cops really pull you over for not having your drls on even during the day? I've modified plenty of lights for Canadian drivers, and most of them had me paint their foglight/drl reflectorin black to eliminate all the chrome and they didn't have any concerns. Just because its against the law doesn't mean its stricktly enforce, just like not having any amber up front, most cops don't care...so unless you experienced it first hand that either yourself or someone you know got fined for not having DRLs, I don't think it should be an issue...

i believe its that, he has to bring the car in for inspection since he brought the car over to canada. If it doesnt show up, he won't pass and therefore, wont be able to have the license ..etc
