Has anyone retrofitted the aerodynamic kit? I guess this is the same kit that the 35th aniv and the IPL G37 gets. I like the front fascia, the sides and the rear don't seem to be all that much different though. Wondering what may be needed besides the fascia and the 3 intake grilles for the front. Has anyone done this...couldn't find anything searching around.

And on this topic why aren't there more kit options for a car that's been on the road for 3+ years!?

Yes lip kits everyone seems to have. I'm talking about true full fascia replacements. I've only had my g a couple weeks but I've only seemed to find one really...the top secret and its replica. What else is there? 8 you say!?

 

Top Secret, AIT, Zele, I believe auto-kits makes one, and the company Weiboy has (he's the only one with it, not sure of the name yet, but it looks nice). So that's 5 "FULL fascia replacements that I know of. And adding Infinitis arrow kit, I guess that makes 6.

The AIT is the replica of the Top Secret, if you want the real one let me know. I'll get you in touch with their U.S. G37 rep.

There is also a few nice lips / half spoilers out there that look good if you mold them to the bumper then paint, but I won't name all of those because I don't think that's what you're looking for.

But I agree you will see a "lack" of product, because this isn't considered a tuner car, like the 370z, and the companies that have developed parts for our car haven't seen good profits, so they don't really feel the need to produce more and lose more monies on research and development. And Top Secret is upset that AIT knocked their kit off and a lot of people bought it instead of their original. I hope that helps.

 

I have the IPL coupe replacement bumpers and side skirts on order. Ill let you know when I get them.

What about the VIS front bumper??? I have always wondered what this would look like and cannot find any picture of it on a G. They do not have one either and I explained that is why they don't sell but they did not really take interest. One person has posed this question a long time ago on here and everyone tried to get him to be the guinea pig but no luck.

i will never get a fiberglass VIS kit.... it was a PITA and i spent double to make the fitment work properly.

Really? The skirts are my favorite part of the aero kit...and the front bumper has truly grown on me. But I think it's just because it is different, I like having something that I don't see on every other G.

 

OP did you used to have a 370 and were on the370z.com under the same name?

 

Yes sir. Parted the 370 out and traded it in for a G37. Loving it so far
