Questions about molding bumpers.

I got a new autokits X front lip in FG last week and have been talking to a few body shops about getting it installed. I found one I like that says they can do it but said it will need some work since the fitment isn't quite perfect. So I've decided I am just going to have it molded so I don't have to worry about fitment issues or anything. I've never done anything like this so I have a few questions.

What kind of materials are usually used to mold FG to poly and are there any downsides to having this done? I assume fillers will have to be used, is there any risk of shrinking or cracking later on in the life of the bumper, or from environmental factors?

Also, how good is the durability and strength of the bumper after molding? I know if you fit something you are more than likely F'd, but what about body flex and things like that? Will it hold up fine to aggressive driving and mild track use?

What about the finish? Are you still able to get an OEM like finish for the paint, or will it look different around the molding?

And last, price. I know this will be different due a variety of things, but mainly whats just a ballpark figure on the amount of hours that go into this? The shop told me it could take 10-12 hours of labor or more for the entire thing. Does that sound about right?

I don't really have any experience in molding, but does the 10-12 hours including paint? Cuz i had my TS lip kit painted recently and the paint shop took 3 days.. I guess after molding, it will be just what they are, FG and Poly, so as long as your aggressive driving doesn't mean scraping any driveways and stuff, i think you will be fine. As for the finish, if you go to a legit paint shop, they can match the color of your car, and polish to the same finish as your car to make them look the same.

I think that included paint but i'm not positive. The entire front bumper is having to be repainted also so I'm not worried about the match, just the overall finish of the mold.
