Question about Adaptive Crusie Control

So today I took my car in because the steering wheel trim had started coming off and the dealership replaced the entire steering wheel with a new wheel w/the adaptive cruise control button. My car doesn't have it, but I've seen the ACC modules selling on Ebay before.

If I purchase the ACC module do you know if it will work? My hope is that all the wiring between the wheel and the sensor is included in the wire bundle and simply not used but having both the steering wheel control and sensor in the bumper would allow me to hook it up and use it...

i would assume all come wired for it. I doubt it would be like the wiring with the paddle shifters, which is a hit or miss.

Somewhere you can get a wiring diagram which should show if the plug is there. I can't remember where to find them though.

It's possible but wouldn't be cheap. The sensor alone is over 1k new and I think there is a separate computer as well.

Do you have the picture of the steering wheel before it was replaced?

That's what I'm afraid of. Ive seen them on eBay for as low as 500 but I'd hate to buy it then find out there's another component I don't have or my car doesn't have the needed wiring.

I don't have any pics of the old wheel. The only difference between the old and the new is the ACC button is there now.

My body shop unplugged the ICC sensor & the whole cruise control system in my car stopped working. I had to bring it in for the dealer to re-calibration the sensor and reset the cruise control.
The second time it was in the shop. I asked the owner to work on it himself to make sure that the ICC sensor is intact.
