Personally I think it clashes. The colors are too similar either way. I think dark cars never look good with black or carbon fiber accents, but that's JMHO.

Geo has an Athens Blue G with CF hood.

My personal opinion about BlueSlate is don't paint it black or CF, looks better the way it is.

ok i need to repaint the front bumper and hood anyways because of some rock chips.. that's why i was thinking to get different color on the hood but i guess i'm just gonna stick with blue slate factory color.

leave the blue slate the way it is. if you want to swap out for a cf hood that would look sick but i'd stay away from a black hood.

Thanks BiscuitWeasel for posting the pictures but i think i'm just gonna repain the hood original blue slate color to get rid of some rock chips. i realized that the CF or black don't really go with blue slate..

get the cf hood with the cut outs and paint in blue slate. leave the cut outs cf. ive seen people do it on other colors and it looks sick. just enough cf to accent the cut outs and keeps the clean look with the stock color for the rest. just my opinion
