Just installed 8000k HID headlights & LEDs
I got the 8000k headlights from GARAX. They are made in Japan and last very long. I has them in my other car for 3 years and they never burned out. I dont use my fogs so i just disconnected them. I also installed LEDs into my turning signals, day time running lights, rear lisence plate lights, interior map lights and interior door lights. I bought everything on ebay from iJDMtoys. Everything cost me $120 with shipping.

This my 2nd car that i use GARAX bulbs. They are made in Japan and the quality is great.
Can you send me a pic of your chin lip spoiler? I also have a coupe and cant seem to find any for the non-sport bumpers.

*** Install Complete***
1) Garax D2S Xenon Replacement HID Light Bulbs - 6000K
2) Osram Powered HID Conversion Kit with slim digital HID ballasts (H11/H8 for Fog lights - 6000K)
So just got done with the 2010 G37x sedan install, went through the fender by turning the wheels in one side at a time and pulling back the shielding. This access worked well for the HID headlamp swap.
NOTE: The metal clip that holds the bulb in place is a little tricky and hard to see, so take you're time to feel around and bend it inward and up out of the way.
For the HID conversion kit for the fog lamps you can go through the fender for the driver side but NOT for the passenger side. The washer fluid reservoir in the way on that side, so you have to go through the underside shielding, which makes seeing what you're doing a bit difficult.
Also NOTE: When you insert the HID bulb or H8 into the fog light housing, look at it from the front as you apply forward pressure and turn the bulb to lock it in place, Making sure that all three prongs are above the mounting tabs or the bulb will not seat properly. I also took the extra time to find a spot to zip-tie the ballasts so that they would not be loose and sliding around. This is easier to do on the driver side because of the better visibility and availability of random holes to use as anchors.
And as always, Be sure to test each lamp before closing up the fender and under engine shielding. Total install time was about 1.5 hours including testing, mounting and figuring the first side out :P

If you are using a 10000K colored halogen bulb for your fogs, you're right it will not look like HID, It will be dimmer with a purple/blue hue.
No I got d2s 10k bulbs for my headlights and disconnected the fogs, I think they look nothing like what I've seen out there. Not very blue either, from up close they look white but from far away they look a tad blue kinda like those new escaldes and range rovers
Soooo I changed my Headlights once again cuz I wasn't 100% satisfied with the "Garax 6000K" from iJDMtoy.com (Bulbs had no markings/branding of any kind on them, shipped in a plain white box)
The bulbs (Shown Above) had a decent color to them, but the light they projected seemed dull. Plus one of them actually failed to fire up once or twice within 2 weeks.
Anyways, I now have a set of 6000k D2S McCulloch from xenonking.com installed and love them!
I had a McCulloch conversion kit on my 2005 Scion TC for about 4 years so I trusted the quality of product, and these further reassured me of the brand. New Pictures to follow....
Check the Bulbs out @ McCulloch 6000k HID Car Kit : Bi Xenon Kit : Xenon Bulbs : Xenonking.com
* Also there is a promo code "Monster" which will get you 15% off through the end of October *

Help: i just purchased a pair of Garax d2s bulbs and it seems that one of them doesnt turn on ( drivers side ). When i use my oem bulb it always starts but as of now i have to turn the lights on then off and on again to get it to fire up. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is it because i have a 2012 and it has future technology? Or do i simply need a relay new ballast or new bulbs? I believe the Garax lights i have are 35 watts. The bulbs i had before were from ebay and they would not fire on start up and they would take 5 times to turn on and off the lights for it to stop flickering and dimming off. Any suggestions or past experiences with the same problem? This is annoying me real bad since i just bought the car and i have to constantly turn on the headlights on and off leaving me choice but to leave the headlights off and not on auto.
