Question Which HID KIT for 2010 Sedan Fogs?

I am about to order an HID-kit to replace the yellowish bulbs in the fog lights. What do you guys think I should buy? I have the following options:

JDM Toy Ultraslim HID Conversion Kit (HID Conversion Kit w/ CAN-BUS Error Free Decoders For Audi BMW Mercedes)

V-HIDS XENON HEADLIGHT KIT H8-premium (V-HIDS PREMIUM DIGITAL XENON HEADLIGHT KIT H8 5000K PURE WHITE)

or slim ballast version (V-HIDS 35W SLIM BALLAST XENON HEADLIGHT KIT H8 5000K PURE WHITE)

DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast 35W (HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning)

Philips HID Kit (Philips HID Kit 4300K or 6000K [Philips Brand])

I know that Philips is the best but it is also the most expensive. So, I'd like to buy a kit for a reasonable price if there is not 100% difference between that one and the best one.

I have the DDM also. It's cheap and so far so good. I have the 3000k kit but it's only been in for about a week.

I've got the DDM headlights and fog kit in 6000K on both. Had it in for several months, all kinds of weather and it's going strong, never flickered or anything like that either

^^^ I rather spend less on that and save for the rear laser interceptor if the DDM is strong and satisfying.

the headlights are direct switch, if you are changing the fogs to HID you will need the ballast

Do you have the slim ballast or the regular one? And 35W or 55W? I will put them into the small fog light housing so I am thinking 35W due to the heat issue.

I have the 55W regular ballast (the coupe uses 55W the sedan uses 35W). I'm not sure what small foglight housing you are talking about...there is only one place to put the fog lights.

I don't think so, but I haven't used any aftermarket halogens before, so I can't really say. Hopefully someone with aftermarket halogens can chime it.

I am talking about the original fog lights on the bumper of the sedan. They are relatively small in comparison to the headlights.

oooo ok, I forgot you had a 2010 sedan...I was thinking the fogs that were still in the headlights. Either way you should be good. But the OEM sedan lights are 35W so going with 35W is what you need to do anyways

I will order tonight. Let's see how they'll look.

Halogen bulbs will be plug-and-play. Simply pull out the old bulb, put in the new. Simple.

For the HID kit, you will need to mount the ballast somewhere safe. Note that they get VERY hot during operation. Like burn your fingers hot. There isn't such a thing as a no-ballast HID kit if you're switching from halogens.
