They look cool ...BUT that's a freaking lot to pay even for a plug and play kit. I mean it's 6 Leds ..should it really be that high...I'm seeing prices around the 6-7 hundred mark

Did you ever get around to scanning the install instructions for these DRLs?

I can think of a lot of other things I would buy for $600. But if it makes you happy...

Man that lakeshore slate color actually looks pretty good on the new sedan.

BTW the LEDs don't look like they belong there, more like "slap them on there so we can be like Audi" kinda deal.

I just saw a Mercedes - E class, I think, they looked worse: Like they were slapped on the or fastened on to the Plastic lower grill. The LED panel of 5 lights looked Awful on the Benz!! I kinda like the G's version, BUT NOT for $600-800.. Like others have said: "Common, its just a plastic housing with 3 LEDS X 2...". I like the Fog lights idea better. There should be a simple wiring fix out there??

I recently installed this kit on my 2010 G37 sedan non-Sport, and started a new thread here.

Thanks to peshs3 and everyone else who contributed information.

with that placement and pricetag its not really worth it in my opinion...I would rather spend a thousand dollars on laser jammers or something

You guys are aware that pretty much ANY aftermarket performance shop / stereo stop can install a DRL kit on your bumper cover, it's not that hard... Don't you guys watch T.V.? lol they can turn your whole car into a DRL like a Christmas tree if you want.

Getting into the headlights like "AUDI" is the tricky part, and the only part I'd pay decent money for.

Just a little input...the pics don't do justice each led is begind a micro projector lens...they are the brightest leds i have seen on the road...they almost light the road at night....and they were designed to go there when the grill is removed there are outlines on the back side..and they are curved to fit perfect...I had my work done at circle infiniti...getting the iron man mod with projector light for turn signal..and leds added to reflector will take pics when done...never scanned the instructions in cause to much work...sorry...

projector LEDs?

and I believe the new 2011 Audi A8 is the first to use actual LED headlights. not just DRLs.

yes MICRO projector lens....they are basically three small pieces of glass that act like a lens....also not a simple install for all the people reminding me about going to a speed/audio shop...it connects to factory bcm....and had its own wiring that goes up both sides of front fenders ...one side to relays....other to BCM...going to get headlights done tomorrow...already got...K40 with custom install...drl's...blank driver keyhole...and all light in entire car 6000k led....including glovebox....
