help ..can anyone verify these are real philips

I ordered this from ebay, the philips ultinon 6000k bulbs:

2 PHILIPS ULTINON 6000K D2S XENON HID BULBS 85122WX NEW: eBay Motors (item 270537961934 end time May-27-10 0349 PDT)

but i found 2 negative ratings saying that the bulbs were fake. can anyone verify through the pics if they are real? I messaged the people who said they were fake and said there is no red dye in the middle. Also, the pole is supposed to be a purplish blue color when this pole is a light blue. should have stayed away from ebay

All Real Ultinons have the "blood stain". I didn't look at the ones in the link. You know his eBay works, they may picture the genuine article and ship you knockoffs.

at the end of the day, all the "high end" bulbs are the same - kaixen's are $109 via sponsors on acurazine (excelerate) - where i got my 6k's.

I wouldnt say all "high end" bulbs are the same. I have never had a Philips bulb fail on me in all the years Ive used them and yet consistently I hear complaints about flicker non-start or short life with all other manufacturers. Unless you've tested them for a long period of time I wouldnt assume the reliability. You get what you paid for with Philips. And to OP the bulbs are correctly labeled and you should be fine.

The exact same way you do with any brand name part - buy from an authorized seller with a good reputation and a history of service. Know what they should cost and don't expect to buy $150 parts for $60 and get legit product. Avoid most ebay sellers. This is all general knowledge.

For example, I'm confident that these are legit, genuine Philips Ultinon bulbs:
Amazon.com: PHILIPS 6000K Ultinon D2S HID Xenon Blue White Bulbs: Automotive
