I Painted Stillen Splitter but.. it is all Bent and Wavy

I got stillen splitter ordered and I dropped it off at the painting body shop.
I went today to pick it up but it is not straight when i lay it on the ground.
The part where it will show (sticking out) is all wavy and kinda bent.
I think it was because when shop painted it, they put it on the chair in the middle, and the two ends were hanging on the air.

It is made of Utherine and they shop says it is flexible and it is going to okay when I mount them on the car.
But i told them to try to make it flat as possible before I try putting them on my car.

They said they are going to lay it on the sun flat, and it will come back to normal shape.

Is it true?
and You think i will be able to get it back to perfectly normal shape like before when i first bought it?

Please give me help, it cost me 200> to buy the splitter and from what they are saying, they are not going to replace it for me because it is perfectly normal (happens all the time) and I shouldn't have to worry about it. But I want perfectly flat on my car.

What steps should I take next?

I'd be wanting it replaced. Who did the work so I know not to use them?

The Polyurethane should not have deformed that badly unless they baked the paint in very high temperature. I would have them fix that or get you a new one. Mine deformed very slightly when I painted it, but was able to get it back to normal. It was no where near how yours turned out.

You were right to question something being wrong, because it is.

Post a picture of it on your deck. When I had my Stillen lip on my maxima I had a similar issue. But polyurethane is flexible...

If they lay it in the sun its just gonna get worse. Ask them to replace it casue that thing is useless now.

One of my friends bought the splitter from me and he stopped by pep boys to get some things and left the splitter in his car, it wasnt that hot outside, but he told me that when he came back to his car that the splitter was already starting to warp and bend. Just tell em that they fu@ked up while in there possesion so they have to replace it now. Simple as that. They are BSing u bro.
