City Light led / HID fog?

Just wondering how or how many of you have put in the city light led into the headlight?

I tried this the other day couldnt reach it. its soo dang crowded in the wheel well. I took off the wheel to fully peel back the wheel well and try to get my hand in there to pull out the led city bulb but couldnt.

How are yall reaching them and the fog lights for those of you with them installed on the G? + the HID fog light? how do you get enough room to work in there?

I tried switching out the city bulb lol... And people on here got the HID's for the fogs which i want to do also, but i doubt i'd have enough work space haha.

Are yall going through the top and taking off the air box? or still from the wheel well?

Easiest way to do it is through the air boxes and look at your hands after you get the 2nd bulb one done, cuts and scrapes galore. lol

I have PIAA super white LEDs (4 small LED bulbs) for my city lights. I've also recently changed my fogs to 6000k HID lights.

You should just do it yourself. I took about 2 hours to take off bumper, figure out the position for ballasts, change out the bulbs, secure the ballasts and wires, and reinstall the bumper. Hardest part was to find a position to mount the ballasts.

But you get to know exactlys what's going on with your car and you can choose a place for clean ballast install not to mention you can clean up the wires and what not. Yes 70 is good price, but IMO it is far more worth it to understand YOUR car yourself. But I guess that's just me.

It looks so good at night! Especially if you already have 6000k low/high beam. It brightens up the entire front end of the car yet not harsh at the person driving in front of you. How do I know? I asked my girlfriend. Hahaha

Why take the time to take off the bumper? Just take the wheel off and pull back the lining -- it takes me 15 minutes to change my lights out and have the car ready to drive again

It takes me less than 10 minutes to take the bumper off so it is easier than jack up the car from both sides to take the wheels off since my car is too low to jack up from the front.

Besides, you get a clearer sight to determine where you want the ballasts to be mounted. I chose to mount them under the crash beam in the front because it is right under the head lights and is outta the way for other applications I have plans for. Plus, it is a safer place for weather conditions and stealthy at the same time. I used some 3M red double sided tapes along with 3 industrial strength zip ties which has better tolerance towards heat.

I guess it all comes down to preferences.
