Lyndon does know Adrian and he was standing there when we were talking about it and I am remember him saying it was a red weave not red coat on black weave.

I bought the hood from another guy.

It is a genuine seibon hood. There's a small knick up by the windshield and you can see the black carbon fiber underneath. Basically, I believe it's the original black CF with a gel coat and then a clear coat with some red mixed in for the tint.

If I bring my SLR home, I'll take a photo or two of the corner so you can see what I'm talking about.

Kidcane, I proved myself wrong when I saw the knick.....

That hood looks SICK!! Nicely done man, its a first for me to see color-matched CF hood or wtv you call it.

 

DOH! I stand corrected.

Here is one done recently in purple. Same way. Black CF with purple clear.
