Has anyone changed the shift boot for the 6MT?

 

OUGH...I did.

I sent mine in to shiftstyle.com

They have a program where if they dont have a template you can send yours in and theyll replicate it and make you one free.

About 2 weeks after i sent it out, their site went down, about 4 months later i got my boot back with undeliverable written on the box.

In the meantime of not having a boot for 4+ months i bought some universal POS off ebay that ive had on there.

Theres a vendor on driver that can make one if you send yours in, hell return your oem boot and make you a new one for $20 instead of $35. Ive been meaning to send him mine just havent gotten around to it. His username is LOCKSMITH.


another site similar to shiftstyle is redlinegoods.com, they basically do the same thing, but require a $50 deposit until you give them an install writup, and you have to mail your boot to poland. lol no thanks.

log onto g35driver and search for LOCKSMITh he makes custom boots for autos and 6mt guys.. I've bought one before for my coupe, good quality leather and you can design it the way you want. price range from 20-40 dollars.

 

DIY should be very similar to g35 way
