Washi Trim Damaged - Replacement

Yesterday I made a big scratch to the washi trim surrounding the shift **** while cleaning my G37 2009 Sedan . So I removed the trim thinking that I can buff the scratch off. While doing this, I damaged the trim and it made it worse. I should have just lived with scratch. Do you guys know if I can just get this washi trim with out the Cigarette lighter/ ash tray and the plastic thing that sorrounds the Shift ****. I looked at various dealer web sites and they don't have this part by itself and the whole kit costs around $400.

Do you guys know if they sell just the washi trim?
Has any one repaired a washi trim before?
Does any one have a spare that you are willing to sell?
Are there any other options?

Let me know.

Jay

I dinged my ash tray lid a while back. I have not replaced it yet, but here is the cheapest site that I have found for OEM parts.

1) i believe the trim comes as a whole piece including the cigarette lighter/ash tray....and if the dealership is charging u $400 for it, and u like the washi trim, then ur gonna have to cought it up...

2) you can't repair washi trim....you'll make it worse...

3) search the fs threads, i'm sure u can find someone sell the cf one or selling the oem one after they purchsed the cf one...

4) other options would be to wrap vinyl around all the washi pieces....

Do you want to wrap it with carbon fiber?
