Your Tint Percentages..
35% all around, except the windshield. YES Chekov, I live in Southern California, YES Chekov, I go to school in the heart of LA, YES Chekov I know it's illegal, YES Chekov I realize that I can get pulled over, but nor do I care about any of that. Been pulled over for my exhaust (which isn't even that loud), but never for my tint.

anyone got pics of 35% sides on black interior? both in the day and at night? Here in nj we cant legally have front tints but I'm thinking 35% is something most cops wont be bothered about. just wanted to see how it looks
At first I had 5% rear, 20% front and no windshield in CA. They pulled me over for the front windows. The officer claimed he couldn't see if I was pointing a gun at him or talking on a cell phone. Got a fix-it ticket. I removed the front tint myself and the cop that signed it off never went outside the verify the tint removal. She just took my word. I ended getting the whole car re-tinted with a lighter 20% rear, 80% front and windshield. No problems with CA cops thus far. I can now see more backing out at night.
I know this is a old old thread but was wondering if anyone had inference with nav, am/fm, lock/unlock distance while using tint. there are plenty of articles stating this with use of metallic and some ceramic tints
I've seen a few Audi's have issues with the nav when not using ceramic tint. I have regular carbon on mine all around, including the windshield. No interference issues for me.
I have 40% all around and 70% on the windshield,no problem from the cops and no issues whatsoever with visibility at night thru the windshield. I did it for the heat rejection, during the day I can drive directly into the sun without using my sun visor.
