To the folks that have done this mod (since it's been 1 year+ in some cases), have you noticed any specific issues, or is there anything you'd change if you had to do it again?

Do you have anything to watch out for?

I'm about to sell my '05 G35 Sedan and move up to a 2011 G37 Sedan, and debating whether this issue is worth the hassle. I took a 45-minute test drive and definitely noticed the braces were digging into my thighs.

Go to local upholsterer, they will take out metal braces for like $100. Quick and easy fix, yes the bladders still work after they take it out. The S model is better in snow then normal models, with all seasons, because of its viscous rear lsd as well.

I had the metal braces removed in March 2010 at a car upholstery shop. They did a great job for $162. MUCH better, no sign of any problem. Well worth it.
