I'm having so many problems on the color scheme for the headlights. The one thing I think I'm set on is painting the Grille Matte Black with Chrome Emblem. I can't decide between the following:

Everything is with IM v2.5 on a AG g37 coupe

1.) Matte black everything but chrome foglight reflector - like picture #1
2.) Matte black housing with AG color matching projector shroud and chrome foglight + turn signal refectors with Amber Side Strip. - similar to picture #2
3.) Matte black everything with AG color matching projector shroud and chrome foglight reflector
4.) OEM light (Waiting to hear back if I can keep the side strip bulb functioning with IM v2.5)

Sometimes I feel like keeping it OEM due to safety reasons UCLA mentioned and also did not want to "cheapen" the looks. (G37Sam picture also looks great) Any input is greatly appreciated because it's been driving me crazy for the last week or so. I linked some pictures for reference. Thanks!

+1 to what UCLA bruin said.

Matte black the entire housing and the side strip and leave the projector shroud from the headlight, the reflector from the foglight, and the reflector from the turn signal chrome.

Then get chrome dome bulbs as turn signals to completely remove the amber.

Therefore, the headlights can still blink amber when you put your turn signals on and you eliminate the amber in all other scenarios.

If you are going to paint your grill black and keep the emblem chrome, the chrome from your headlights can tie in to the chrome emblem on your grill.

 

Set up #1 or UCLA Bruin's set up. If you've got the cash then go for Bruin's set up.
