problem with headlight

Hey guys...
I changed out my headlights to 8K's last January, I purchased the bulbs on eBay.
Lately, my driver side bulb would turn on randomly. I thought it was burnt out at first but it would turn on randomly, as in sometimes it works, sometimes not. It doesn't flicker or anything like that.

Anybody know what could be wrong? wiring? connection?, bulb? fuse? anybody with the same problem?

w/o knowing anything else, I would say it's b/c the bulb is from ebay. I don't think buying mods on ebay is smart, but of course to each his own. Aside from having more info, I can't give you any other advice...hope it gets fixed though!!

Problem is you bought bulbs from ebay. 99% of the ones on there are cheap and dont last long. check out ddmtuning.com I got my 5000k's from them and they are working great, are a good price, and have a 1 year warranty. There's some other brands that have longer warranties but cost quite a bit more.

I agree with the consensus. You bought a crappy quality cheap bulb and are paying the price. to test this out, put your OEM's back in and see if you have the same issue. If not, ditch the cheapos and buy some quality HIDs

I would follow what BB said, because you could check the connection at the same time and make sure that isn't the problem.

ha ha ha! I KNEW you guys would blame it on the eBay bulbs.

I had a feeling it was the bulbs, just wanted to know if anybody else had the same problem and knew the solution.

I think I'll just get some quality bulbs and just change it.

Thanks.
