I'm ready to get my front bumper replaced.... bought the replacement bumper a couple months ago at a great discount - now it's time to do the deed.

I've seen local quotes between $400 - $1000 for paint/install .... I understand that you normally "get what you pay for"... but not necessarily in these tough economic times.

What should I expect to pay for paint/labor in this area? Shop recos?
What kind of paint should I be looking for / staying away from?

Any insight would be appreciated.

his friend's shop in SF does amazing work for cheap. ive seen many of the works in person and i can vouch for it. good luck!

and for install im sure we can do it for u.. no need to pay that premium to the bodyshop for this kind of work.. just pay for the paint, we can help u remove and install back the bumper

 

you're looking at about $350 to paint. and a tip for me to help you install it(if you gonna have me do it)
