help! need opinions on this damage

I bumped into a friends car while backing out and scratched up my rear bumper. I took it to a body shop today and they wanted $360 to repaint the whole bumper.

This damage is very minimal but its too many scratches to use touch up paint. I have had bumpers painted before and they usually paint half and blend it to the rest of the bumper.

What do you guys think? I really do not think the whole bumper needs to be repainted for something like this. There are no creases or dents in the bumper either. Also, if anyone knows a good shop around Philly, PA, I would greatly appreciate it.

There are about 7 scratches where the paint came off and they are black now. I rather not get the whole bumper painted for fear of it not color matching perfectly.

Any other opinions on whether the bumper has to be repainted or it can just be partially resprayed? Going to some more body shops tomorrow so would like to get some more views on this.

yeap that's how it is. Once a scratch eats into the paint like what I see in your pic, you gotta repaint the entire bumper. Another alternative is if you can detail it professional? If you can't then you really have not much choices left. Good luck!

Is buffing this out an option for me? the paint is missing so i would assume I have to get it repainted. Unless I touch up paint it then polish it out smooth. thanks for your replies!

I go for that and if I didn't like it, I could always repaint the whole bumper. Just my personal thoughts.
