does anyone know how to remove the stock lip (the chrome thing on the trunk). and i have a backup camera. help please?!

and i also ordered an S spoiler to try to install myself. if i fail, ill just take it to dealership. but any advice on removing the chrome lip?

 

by your question I would say bring to the dealership. the spoiler isnt something to mess with if your not good with drilling and using a dremel.

 

I ordered my G37 with the spoiler, but when they delivered it - in Nov '07, no spoiler. They gave me an IOU for it (for $500) The salesman had already quit (or was fired) by the time it was delivered.

Took them 'til March '08 to get the "spoiler kit" in - because it was the new style. It had the hole for the camera built-in, and it fits over the (UGLY) chrome lip. The spoiler has its own brake light, but I had to complain to get them to remove the one inside the back window, and replace the package shelf with an "S" shelf.

Looks TONS better now! Worth the wait? I guess... but I'd rather have had the car delivered as ordered, though.

ya the correct spoiler has a hole for the back-up camera and fits over the chrome lip.
