Exiting car with Sport Seats

Is there a proper way to exit the car with sport seats? I've only had the car for a few days, and when I get out I always seem to sort of crush the side of the seat when exiting. I'm referring to the left side of the seat that slopes up. I usually twist my right leg around and sort of get out, but I always feel like my butt is crushing the leather there. Is there a proper way? I believe the seat is moving back as far as possible when exiting.

I actually noticed some wrinkles in that section already, it's only been a few days...So I'm not sure if its from me or not. But I think so, because the other seat on the right side looks similar from people coming in and out. Is that normal? Also whats the best way to upkeep these sport seats?

Sit, close door.

Open door, stand up.

I know what you mean.. lol

My left leg bolster is a little bit more creased than the rest of the seat. I don't know of any different methods of getting out of the car though.. unless we crawl out through the passenger side every so often to mess up that side evenly.. lol.

Open sunroof all way and hit the ejector switch, only available with the premium package. The only drawback is that it only works on the passenger seat. But It's a quick and fun way of saying goodbye to an annoying friend or love one.

It would be cool, if you could flap the left elevated side of the seat down...Thanks for a normal response

Your car is too high. Lower it and it will be easier to avoid the bolster.

I rotate and put both legs out the car first, then using my right arm on the wheel wench my a$$ up and out. The bolster fits under my knees and actually helps getting out. If I'm drunk I just use the fall out and slither method, not advisable in wet weather or gravel. <-pure fictitious since I never drink and drive!

^ Haha, yeah, you'll just mess up the whole seat instead of just a portion of it with that method.

It appears inevitable that the bolstered area of the seat nearest the exiting door would be worn down faster compared to the innermost one. I think there would be no way around this except adopt some nifty techniques or safeguard attempts in slowing down the anticipated wear & tear.

To come up with what would be the most effective way how a rider transfers weight coming off that seat in a manner that would induce the least wear while not getting injured doing so would be entertaining.

To ensure I would not be adding any additional wear on the bolstered seat, I have tried avoiding clipping my pager & cellphone to my belt, avoided jeans with protruding nipple buttons on the rear pockets, done away with hook clips with attached bundle of office keys, done away with pens dangling in the pocket, and many more. The experience was also in a way liberating as I did not realize we carry too much on us.
