I personally like the idea of using a stock grill, only because you know it will fit perfect.

gialla i can promise wont happen. in fact the chances of you seeing any parts come out of japan for our car for sale in the us is slim to none. they make a fair amount of stuff for sale in japan just not here. for instance you can still buy the real top secret parts in japan. just cant sale them in the us

UNV without going into deep detail, can you elaborate why parts for OUR car specifically aren't coming or is this a growing trend in general for all cars? Why is this happening?

well its a growing trend across the board. less parts are being brought in for all cars now due to the simple fact japanese companies are sick of investing a lot of money in r&d for parts to have them come to the us and be knocked off. they are protected in japan from this happening so they dont need to worry about it there. only cars that they know will sell a lot, i.e. honda s2000, 350/70z, and so on will have a lot made and brought. but even those cars there are parts that are avail only in japan . g37 specific speaking your not going to see much if any comes from the ways of japan. its already at a disadvantage for the fact its a grand touring car and not a true sports car. so the market would already be considered less. but with the high rate of knock off parts its not worth it anymore. thats one of the reasons top secret pulled the 37 market stuff from the us amoung others of course . can be bought in japan still.

Has anyone else found a good fitting grille without the emblem by chance? I emailed Ionicdynamics the other day and they indicated that they are working on one which should be ready around the new year.
