Anyone smoked their tails like thr gtr overlays?

i want to smoke my tails but i kind of want to get them done like the gtr overlays what do you guys think? has anyone done this?

im not talking about just smoked or overlays im talking about smoked just like the gtr overlay

Yes, love the look myself and no detrement whatsoever to light intensity. These are overlays though a lot less effort and cost, they've been on for a year now.
