Deciding to buy a pair of the Illuminated Kick Plates but i'd like to know whether they connect to a specific part or am i going to have to splice wires? Which i don't want to do, Also the old kick plates just pop out right?

 

I think all coupes came pre-wired (I think so correct me if im wrong anyone)

^nah, the base model does not come with the plug.

Actually, the plates with a wiring harness. You have to plug it into the BCM and route the wires under teh carpet. It's not simply pop off the old one and plug in the new.

 

anyone know if the lights for the kickplates are bulbs or LED's.....

New G37. Had dealer install illuminated kick plates. Looked like there was moisture or water under the clear plastic (between clear plastic and black backing).

Waited 2 weeks -did not go away. Dealer replaced with new set.

Today I noticed a bit of the same again on both for the first time since they replaced them.

Anyhow had it happen to them? Help!
