Auto Seat Problem

Hi Guys, I am having some problems with my "Auto Seat" Ya know when u move the passenger seat manually then you hit the button by the release lever, its supposed to go back to the previous position but it does nothing. The manual says it is is dissabled if the parking break is off. So i tried all sorts of combos, parking break on, off, engine on off. Nothing. Has anyone had this problem or am I slow

I think your doin it wrong??

1. set the seat to the desired seating position.
2. open door, pull release lever, and push button
3. seat should pull forward all the way.
4. push back of seat so release lever clicks again
5. push button next to release lever
6. seat should pull back to desired seating position.

this won't work unless the door was opened, in order to provide safety for the passenger and annoying rear-seat passengers.

If you push the button in the inner side of the seat like even once, the button on the shoulder won't work.
