How to determine level of tint?

I bought my car used and the back window/side windows were already tinted (no tint on the windshield). I love the way it is but is there an easy way for me to know the amount of tint that was used?

Well if you can see through the tint into the front seat, Then its less than 20%.

Anything higher than 20% you may not be able to see inside.

The percentage # that is associated with tint film is the percentage of UV light that is able to pass though the film. Therefore, the lower the percentage # the darker the tint film is.
