Spoiler or no Spolier??

I leased my G w/o a spoiler and now I find myself wanting to put one on. I got a price from a guy who works on the cars at the dealership. He says it's almost identical to OEM, again he works on the cars at the dealership, they gave me his number because I said $669 is way too much (that's what they quoted me at). He said $395 for the spoiler and installation, he said he'll come to me as well to install it. So I'm looking for some input from you guys... is this a good price? and should I put it on or does it look fine with the chrome thingy?? I'm on the fence.

EDIT- I ended up getting it put on today. Check out my last post to find out more info.

I went with the OEM spoiler when i added mine... IMO it looks the best.... others have had good luck with the grubbs spoiler...

I would definitely throw a spoiler on. Completes the look of the car IMO. Either OEM or Grubbs V2

395 installed is a very good deal for the OEM spoiler. The chrome piece looks weird.

Who is this guy? I would be interested to see what the spoiler looks like on. I am in the same boat, except I own my car and I want a spoiler. I also live in Davie FL so im interested in who you are talking too.

Thanks

and FYI you can get an OEM for 499.00 on everything G35 and infiniti of davie agreed to match that price and there was a tech I spoke with who said he would install it for 60.00

They guys name is Peter, his number was given to me by Jay Rellis, he's a sales rep at Infiniti of Davie. He works on their cars so I assume he's reliable. $395 installed is still better than $559 installed.

No your right it is, assuming the spoiler is as nice and the fit and finish is as good. But if not, I would always pay the extra 200.00 and get it done the right way. But I can surely understand exploring that avenue. Please post pics when you do it, would love to see it.

Definitiely! So what color did you end up getting your G? I remember you asking me about Infiniti of Davie, did you get it from there. My father owns the Shell station right there next to the dealerhip, and I own an Allstate agency right down the street on Flamingo and Griffin so I'm a local myself. Let me know if you ever want to meet up. I'm plannig a group ride to Moroso sometime soon, if you're down to go.

I went for Black on Black. I have had it now a year next week, ended up goinf to Coconut creek at the time the prices were all the same and the Gs more or less and at the end of the day it was the dealer who gave me the most on my trade. I actually just switched over from Geico to Allstate after 10 years. If I had only know, I could have come to see you lol How old are you?

Nice price then. I'd say see the pic, maybe meeting at your place isn't a good idea if you don't want him to know where you live (especially with all the wheel theft going on lately). But it seems like a good deal.

Yea I know, Im going to have him come to my office, and give him a quote for his insurance while he's doing the job so maybe I can make some money off him.
