My windows (all 4 & both F/R windshields) seem to have this strange 'film' on them. It's not a 'film' per say; ie it's not greasy, etc. It looks almost like oil in water; that wavey, funky-color. It almost seems like it's 'in the glass'. You can only see it when the sun hits it just right, or when it's cold enough to fog up the glass.

I've cleaned the windows with Stoner Auto-Glass multiple times, and I'm going on 4 months now, with no cure. I told my dealer when I went in for my first service, and they said they had taken care of it, but as soon as the light hit it again I could see that wasn't the case.

Sorry to ramble, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. If so, do you have any suggestions on products or methods for a fix? I'd like to get tint on soon, but want to get the glass right before doing so.

Every car I've ever own or been in that has that. When the sun hits it the right way you see a rainbow effect. It has to do with the tempering process.

You may notice it more on your front windshield since it is made of laminated glass.
