Quick Question on Red Ironmans

Who has the red 37 with the red Ironman done to it?

If you see this, have you had any problems with the police so far? (being red is illegal in the front)

ig0r has granted permission to get mine headed his way

I actually think red is ok to have, I think regular white, amber or red are all acceptable turn signal colors, the only issue might be because they're on. I think the Blue Light's would be more of an issue, Blue lights are supposed to be strictly reserved for police vehicles IRC.

Generally, no lighting visible from the front of any civilian car may display any color other than white or amber anywhere in North America. No red, blue, green, purple, yadda yadda yadda. Certainly no red or blue whtich around here will catch unwanted police attention and earn a citation.

+1, I always thought red in the back is acceptable, but not in the front.

Brush and Stoof have them.

I've only heard of brush getting pulled over at night with them on because he didnt have his lights on. Duh. And he said they where factory and they told him to put his lights on and let him go.

I'm not saying not to do it. I'm saying that:
1) it most definitely is not legal
2) police here in Houston are not like NYC cops

He may drive for the life of his car and never get stopped because of it. I hope so, but I wouldn't bet on it. I drive without a front plate which is illegal. We all take our chances.

Well, I have just moved back to Houston after about 12 years, but back when I was in High School they were all over me and my friends. That might have to do with us being dope smoking, beer drinking idiots at the time

The Constables are the ones you have to watch out for. I have found that the State Troopers are pretty good guys as long as you aren't doing anything that would endanger others.
