Ah... I'm liking that better now that I realize the car is Blue Slate.
Why keep the OEM intake brackets?
And that yellow dipstick handle is totally out of place. Paint that little guy Blue or Black.
Thanks Rochester, will be changing some of that out soon. Got too many mods I've tackled this past month. Scored me some JDM Skyline taillights so some engine bay money went to that. Don't want to upset the wifey with all these purchases...lol
JDM tail lights have oem amber turn signals an no side marker in the housing. USDM had red turn signal and a side marker.
Aren't rear signals red by traffic law? I'm guessing the side-marker is a state-by-state requirement. Be interesting to see both side-by-side to evaluate.

Amber color turn signals and more of a cherry red housing color. Kind of hard to capture it in a picture though. Let me find a pic of it and upload it.

In any event... off-topic. Thanks for the info.
Red and amber are both legal. Many cars in the us come with amber blinkers. Never heard of any issues about side markers. ive had mine for over 3 years now.
Time to revive this thread. Finally got around to purchasing a Cusco strut bar. Actually snagged one up from IPL 370GT off of here. Had a few scratches on the bar but it has been sanded and polished. Still needs some more polishing to get it back to mirror like finish, but its close. Also been thinking about painting or wrapping the engine cover and radiator shroud, finally decided to give painting it a try. Spent a few hours on both pieces with lots of sanding for that super smooth finish. Overall I'm very happy with the results. I just need my Takeda Long tubes and a stainless bolts... Anyways, onto some not so great pictures I took with my iPhone.
Me too. TwoThree's gold engine cover made me go through about 6 different rattle-cans, and endless hours of photoshopping various shades, before I found the color I liked.
Here's the finished work. It's a non-metallic gold, in a satin finish.
