Yeah Sam, you were worried about scraping with just dropping your G. Throwing that extra lip on will probably end up causing you more problems then worth the looks.

you're gonna be cutting it real close. Stillen would give you more clearance but since you want that aftermarket look, just remember to approach any steep incline or decline at an angle and you should be ok.

Yeah it will start getting pretty risky..

Thing is though, a friend of mine already has them on (stock drop) and is ordering the TS kit.. I'll be doing the order for him (since he doesn't even know to create a myG37 account lol) in return he'll give me his JP front free of charge.. which was what got me thinking, i mean even if i do end up scraping its bottom, nothing much to lose right?

Well nothing lost if the only damage that occurs is to the JP lips, but being that they will be pretty well secured to your bumper they might pull and damage the actual bumper if you catch one bad on a bump.

There you go, I can tell you got the salesman in you. With those meets you're attending in Dubai and such, some other owner will swooped them up not having to deal with customs and such.

I say sell the lip

You are close enough to scraping on the stock bumper, i don't think you would get away with a lip

get coilovers and then get the top secret lip... then you can adjust the coilover height and you win!

Get it u'll be alright. My splitter has like credit card clearance on small speed bumps and I'm usually pretty good about not scraping. If I do scrap its my X pipe not my splitter

hes completely right im on eibachs and jp lip and i only scraped a few times on a really steep incline. just be a little careful thats all on certain things go on an angle. oh and when i scraped its not like my lip got visibly damaged just underneath the lip you can feel its all messed up which isnt a big deal to me cause you cant see it.

oh and im in new york

Keep the lip and adjust the coilover height. I think the lip is a +
